The Captain West House | click on pictures to enlarge Built in 1834 by sea captain Nathaniel West, the charming Captain West House blends the warmth and charm of yesterday with the comfort and convenience of today. Each guest room is individually decorated with antiques, period detail and many feature working fireplaces, kitchenettes, or whirlpool baths. Offering both smoking and non-smoking rooms, the Captain West House is also pet friendly (by prior arrangement). Tucked away in the original kitchens of the Captain West House is our cozy breakfast room. All rates include a continental breakfast that can also be enjoyed in the garden courtyard during warm weather.
